The Donaghmede Literary Festival is taking place the last weekend in September (Thursday 26th-Saturday 28th) and the line up is looking impressive with a genre for everyone – from Roddy Doyle to Sheila Flanagan, Arlene Hunt to Jo Spain. I’ll be there too as it turns out and I feel very privileged indeed to have my name in lights in the midst of such fine writers. To read all about it, have a goo here

I’m working on draft 3 of the next book and I’d say there will be a draft 4 and 5 so there’s no time for anything except writing. It’s like school during the warm weather with exams approaching!

The King of Lavender Square was launched in real style on October 5th in Ireland’s only two star Michelin restaurant, Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud. Dubray Books were there to sell up a storm as were a whole host of people, including the top bods from Poolbeg, who mingled in the magnificent room over a glass (or two) of wine.
